Course in Film Appreciation - at Bangalore

COURSE IN FILM APPRECIATION

A one-week full-time course in FILM APPRECIATION will be held at Bangalore from 23rd August to 29th August, 20088 conducted jointly by the National Film Archive of India and Film & Television Institute of India. The course is open to all who are interested in film activities / studies.

The curriculum includes theoretical study of the art and history of film and the development of cinema as a medium of art and communication. Film classics both Indian and International will be used for critical analysis and study.

1. The medium of instruction would be mainly English.

2. The applicant should have completed 21 years of age as on 01.07.2008

3. The course fee of Rs.3,000/- should be remitted by Demand Draft in favour of Administrative Officer, NFAI, Pune only after the confirmation of selection. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

4. The course is non-residential.

5. Venue : Suchitra Cinema & Cultural Academy


Duly filled in application in the prescribed format alongwith one self-addressed Rs.5/- stamped envelope should reach the following address on or before 25.07.2008 .
