Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd (REC) has announced Capital Gain Tax Exemption-54EC Bonds Series-X for 2015-16. This is a non-transferable, non-negotiable bond with a face value of `10,000. The minimum application size is two bonds and the coupon rate is 6% annually. The issue will close on 31 March 2016.
