Bank of Baroda and MobMe have together launched a mobile-based fund transfer app. It allows users to transfer money to any contact in their phonebook. It is linked to the customer's bank account and facilitates money transfer once the customer downloads the app and registers. The sender has to select the recipient from the contact list, enter the amount and mPIN, and the amount will be credited to the receiver's bank.
